New Year's Eve is just around the corner and we know you are all on the hunt for the perfect sparkly and sequined outfit. Only problem is you probably don't want to spend a lot of money knowing you will only wear it once. But wait... there is a solution!
Turn your sparkly mini....
into a sparkly pillow!
I know it sounds crazy, but it check it out:
Mine only cost me $5 from Forever 21.
Just follow these easy steps and you can make a pillow in no time!
Make sure it has a mostly square shape. |
Stuff your new pillow with fluff and start pinning the edges. |
The moment of truth! All you have to do is sew 2 straight lines and ta-da! You have a gorgeous new pillow. |
I found the pinterest inspiration at www.sisterssuitcaseblog.com
SEQUIN FRAME
I tried making a sequin frame.. probably the easiest and most fool proof craft I've ever done!
First, you need a frame with a flat surface that can handle hot glue.
I got this one at Target for $3. I bought a small package of sequins at Michael's craft store, also $3.
Then, pull out your hot glue gun and voila... you have a sparkly new frame!
{I think it looks kind of cool only halfway done}
Happy New Year!
