Item of the Week: Red Carpet Manicure

You guys, this kit has been LIFE CHANGING. Really, Red Carpet Manicure is the greatest thing ever. I can do gel manicures... at home! It may sound intimidating, but I have found it is actually faster than doing my nails with normal, old polish. The kit has a blue light that dries your nails completely in 45 seconds. Then, they don't chip or smudge for 3-4 weeks!

Brooke and I were lucky enough to be given two kits at the Grammy Gifting Suite, but good news for you: a starter kit is only $60! When we were at the gifting suite, the Red Carpet Manicure team offered to do our nails with gold leaf-infused nail polish that cost a whopping $5,000 a bottle! We didn't have enough time, so they sent us home with our own kits that we now use all the time. $60 may sound like a lot, but I have been paying $20-25 every month to get mine done professionally.
(yes, that is my foot underneath the blue light)
If you feel bad ditching regular polish, you can use it to decorate your gel nails. Since you have to use acetone to take off gel nails, normal remover won't remove the color. This means your gel nails are kind of like a dry erase board. You can change them up as often as you want using normal nail polish.
Have fun polishing!
